The Full Field Recreational Program is played by the U-11 through U-19 players (ages 10-18 as of August 1). This program
follows FIFA rules with some local modifications. As the players age increase, so does the field size and the length of each half. Most games are played on Saturdays. U11 plays 9v9 on a
slightly smaller field. U12+
play 11-a-side.

How are teams put together:
-
Coach volunteers are the number one factor in team formation. NKSC strives to build teams around available coaches. A team will not be formed if there is no coach.
-
Coaches will have their child on the team they are coaching (unless they choose otherwise, please indicate preference).
- Depending upon total enrollment, some multi-age teams may be formed to maintain reasonable team sizes.
-
Coaches will not be allowed to pick players for their teams in Recreational soccer.
Practices: Practices begin in late August depending upon grade level. Coaches are asked to contact team members before 15 August. Practices are usually held throughout the season, once or twice a week for 1-1½ hours.
Games: The first games will be in September after Labor Day. The season ends in early November. Games are on Saturday & Sunday.

Schedule Information:
District 4 schedules for U6 through U19 recreational teams are posted on the District 4 website located at: www.d4soccer.org. Schedules can change and all coaches and team mangers should check for changes on the Thursday before games. It is the coaches responsibility to notify players of schedule changes.
For instructions on how to obtain access to the District 4 website look here.
It is also the Coaches responsibility to check whether they are to set-up or take-down goals if they are the first or last games on game day. This can also be found on the District 4 site. Coaches needing keys for goals should request one from our Fields Coordinator.
