Please make sure you know your age group before registering! Use this chart to determine the age group for the September 1, 2012 - August 31, 2013 season. Example: Using this chart, the age-appropriate team age group for a player with birth date October 16, 1997 is U-15.

2013 Spring Academy Player Registration - OPEN

Registration is not open for Fall Recreational yet. Please check back.

Pickup games on the turf! Free for all 2012 Fall and 2013 Spring registrants. If you have not registered for either of these programs you can register for Drop-In for $20 and this fee covers the whole season. You can register for Drop-In here. Drop-In will be on most Friday nights at NKHS from 6:30 to 8 until May. Reminders/cancelations will be sent via emails to the club. There will be no Drop-In on 3/29.

NK Competitive Soccer is available for U11-U19 players:
U11 - Small Sided - 9-a-side; maximum roster size 14
U12-U19 - Full Field - 11-a-side; maximum roster size 18

How Teams Are Put Together: Teams are formed through a tryout process - players must participate in the Tryout to make a team. Check our web site for more info, days, times and locations. All players will be informed in person or by telephoned soon after tryouts regarding their status. Players that do not make a NK Competitive team will be able to register for a Recreational team.

Group Registration - Most tryout registrations will be for a team especially if the team is already established. If multiple teams are plannned for an age group, there will only be one registration initially and one group tryout for players to be considered for all teams in that group. The coaches and staff will determine team placement. After those teams are established in future years they may hold specific team tryouts for each team.

Play Ups - Normally discouraged or reserved for exceptional cases as this depletes the talent from the "natural age" teams. Recommend that your player registers for his/her "in-age" team then walks up to the other play up team.

Tryout Fee: Free.

Registration Fee (if player makes a team): $240 per player in 2010. After being notified of team selection each player should log back into the registration system and pay this online. This fee includes: league scheduling, liability insurance, referees, State Youth Soccer organization fees, field equipment (nets, goals, paint), fields & light fees to NKSD, etc.

Team Fee: Additional Team Fees are assessed and collected by your team. These fees vary by team but are needed for equipment, uniforms, tournament fees, team supplies, etc. As you can see if you already have uniforms and the team is established with required supplies these fees are substantially less than a new player on a start up team.

Coaching and or Club Fees: $0.00! None, zero, zip, nada. This is a MAJOR ADVANTAGE for NK Competitive families. We are a volunteer organization and no monthly coaching fees are charged. Coaches may, however, charge for tournament mileage and expenses (tournament hotel rooms, meals, equipment reimbursement) with proper mileage log and/or receipts as applicable.

If your are a Competitive Team Coach, Staff (assistant or manager) or Team Volunteer (Treasurer, Field Rep, etc) please complete the registration process which includes:

1. New staff should contact the applicable Program POC and let him/her know your intention to volunteer for a team:

2. Register online for that Team.
3. Read ALL the Notices as they specifically apply to your expected conduct as a coach/staff member.
4. A Risk Management (RMA) background check is automatically conducted by WSYSA as part of the ONLINE registration. Upon acceptance into the RMA program an RMA number will be mailed to you.
5. Coaches should ensure all Staff and Team Volunteers are registered to their team.
